  • Established in 1982, Pilgrim Brewery is the oldest independently owned craft brewery in London and the South East and was, in 1982, the first new brewery to be set up in Surrey for over 100 years. Pilgrim moved to their current location just off Reigate High Street in 1984 and has been part of the local community ever since. Pilgrim Brewery has mainly been known for its traditional, cask ales, which include bitters, best bitters, golden ales, stouts & pale ales. Two of the best-known Pilgrim cask ales, Progress and Surrey, have been brewed using the same recipes since the early 1980’s. The current owners Adrian & Rory, who bought the company in September 2017, have invested in more modern equipment to improve the brewing efficiency and the beer consistency. They have also introduced new types of beer into the Pilgrim range including, a craft lager, American pale ales and brown ales, keg, bottle & canned beers. Pilgrim Brewery have been supporting the DMRC Benevolent Fund since 2018.
